For NaNoWriMo, I decided to do something differently tonight, and that is, do my writing the first thing I got home. I had ideas last night, as I lay in bed, and no time today to grab any of my beloved 3 x 5 cards to write anything down. So, while my two baked potatoes cooked in the oven (one is for the steak, the second one is took make fried potatoes to go with scrambled egg tomorrow), I wrote. Naturally, as you can probably tell, this wasn’t my brightest idea, because I am now starving and can think of nothing but food!
Word to the wise: Eat something first!
I also heard something interesting quite recently, when a friend was talking about a project that he was working on. He said, “You have to be sure not to leave any part of yourself behind.” Which I immediately translated into something along the lines of, “When you’re writing, don’t stand to one side and write. Instead, you should pull all of yourself into the words.”
Here’s the current count:
Day One – 1,998
Day Two – 2,122
Day Three – 1,820
Day Four – 1,820
Day Five – 1,930
Day Six – 1,601
And here’s the treat! I don’t normally watch animal shows, I am too sensitive a soul for that. However, when Steve Irwin came onto the scene, I could see at once that he wasn’t a hunter or a mere observer. He really threw himself into moment, and really wanted to understand the animals that surrounded him. I was so into Steve, that I became interested in crocodiles, of all things! I was very sad when he passed away. So when I came across the following video, I fell in love with it right away, and when I’m feeling a little down, I pull it up and watch it. It’s by the very talented melodysheep, and it’s called “Wildest Things In The World.”

You are more than welcome. I’ll keep posting fun stuff as long as I can get my hands on it. : D
And thank you for the encouragement!
