I have more time on Sundays than most other days, so it was nice to have that extra time both before and after writing. Of course, I took some time to chat with my friend Wendy, who is working on her next novel as well. That made for some nice interludes, and it always energizes me to talk writing with someone who understands what I’m doing. Or trying to do. Wendy gave me some little peeks at exactly what she’s working on, which only whetted my appetite. But I’ve promised her that I won’t BEG for more. Because that would be rude, and it would interrupt the flow that she’s got going on with her writing.
Here’s the current word count:
Day One – 1,998
Day Two – 2,122
Day Three – 1,820
Day Four – 1,820
Day Five – 1,930
Day Six – 1,601
Day Seven – 1,729
Day Eight – 2,363
Day Nine – 2,175
Day Ten – 1,782
Day Eleven – 2,124
Day Twelve – 2,008
Day Thirteen – 1,776
Day Fourteen – 1,231
Day Fifteen – 2,168
Day Sixteen – 2,559
I found this video the other day; it’s a favorite of mine. It’s done to a song called “We Built This City,” and it’s for the fandom of Stargate: Atlantis. Jescaflown is a genius – she took a goofy song and made it a classic celebration!

Great word count for the day. Your best yet. Glad our chatter didn’t interrupt your flow. It only fueled me, as well. You are much too kind to mention me in your blog.
Well, I had a great Sunday, too. Here’s to more days like that!

Thank you! And our chatter made the flow more fun. And of course I’d mention you, since you were part of the reason that the word count got so high. I put my self in “Wendy” mode and just started typing. It made me realize that perhaps my new habit has been formed. Or is being formed. Well underway to being solidified.
I’m glad your Sunday writing went well; funny how we both wrote bathing scenes. : D
